Elizabeth & Jon e-session

So I am a very lucky girl with this shoot not only do I get to capture this super romantic couple but I get to spend the whole day with my best friend and the love of her life! I think that's a pretty great day... don't you think? Jon is in the US army so needless to say it took a little bit of planning and organizing to get these love birds together for a e-session. So I took them down to Stanley Park and Jericho Beach and had lots of laughs and wonderful weather to boot! Cheers Jen

Baby Aidan

So I'm really excited to share with you baby Aidan, one of many baby sessions for me this year. I have to say I'm really enjoying baby sessions so far, maybe because I haven't done too many yet! This session was different for me it's the first time I've done an entire shoot in a  Chinese restaurant, so needless to say I had to get pretty creative with angles and lighting...but in the end it was lots of fun! And this little guy rocked it out!

Winter Games 2010

Well the games have come and gone...but the patriotism and the spirit of the games will stay here long after all the window displays and the banners are gone. For me who wasn't all that interested in the games to begin with...all was changed after watching the torch run...and I even scored hockey tickets(so much fun). Everywhere you went at any time there were people running down the streets wearing their country flags as capes; people shouting at tv's to make sure the athletes could hear their cheers, singing the national anthem on the very packed skytrains, high fives from strangers everywhere in all their Canada gear....beer did I mention all the beer drinking :)All the  resturants/homes/streets came to a stand still to watch the world play ...and what a game it was.  Cheers, Jen

Burnaby Village Olympic Torch

So the week was finally here when the Olympic torch would be coming by my house...and then to the opening ceremonies the next day. I haven't really been to excited for all of the Olympic hype until today that is. Well I made my way to Burnaby Village Museum where the torch would be starting the day...found my spot for some prime photo opportunities...then waited in the rain(where was all this sunshine when I needed it). As I waited I looked around at the sea of red and white, and all of a sudden I got pretty pumped up to be there. All the school kids were chanting Go Canada Go...and I heard our national anthem about 20 times or so. As I walked back to my car completely soaked...I found myself excited and totally into the Olympic spirit thanks to all the amazing community energy.

Jemina and Ty's Whislter Wedding was a blast... I had so much fun I almost forgot I was working! Even though it was raining it definitely didn't put a damper on this wedding party. Between the cheering from the pubs in Whistler village to the dance contest at the reception it is one wedding I won't soon forget!
Cheers Jen

Best family photo ever....

Well I have to say I have never seen a cake quite like this..the talented bride laurie made this ultimate cake herself. All the guests got a kick out of it..there must be a little Nintendo kid in all of us. Knowing the couple this cake totally represented them. They got married on one of the many heat waves of the summer..and of course the wedding was held outside in Queens park. I melted away for most of the day...but it was still tons of fun. Congrats you two!!
Cheers, Jen
